My journey

The voice has always been at the heart of my life.

Long before I became an opera singer, a singing teacher or the founder of EKHOPHOS, it was already my refuge. It was a place where I could express myself freely and simply be who I truly am.

Even today, I am convinced that the voice is far more than an instrument. It reflects who we are, what we experience and what we dare to express.

This is the journey that led me to make it my mission.

Singing, My Refuge

I have never chosen the easy path, and perhaps that is what has allowed me to keep growing and evolving.

As surprising as it may seem, I too – perhaps just like you – struggled for a long time to express myself and to find my place.

I was afraid of speaking in public, of being seen, of embracing who I was or simply of speaking my truth. It became a profound journey of self-discovery and self-overcoming.

But there was one place where everything became simple.

Singing.

Singing made me happy. I could sing for hours, lose all sense of time and forget the world around me.

Singing was my refuge.

Naturally, this passion led me towards a career as an opera singer and singing teacher. I searched for vocal freedom through technique, breath, precision, daily practice and artistic discipline.

At that time, I believed that mastering the voice was only a matter of mastering technique.

I did not yet know that true vocal freedom begins long before the sound itself.

It begins within.

Your voice is your essence

In Search of My Voice

But one day, my body said stop.

I could no longer speak.

I could no longer sing.

For months, then years, no doctor could explain what was happening to me. No diagnosis was ever made, yet my voice no longer responded.

I lost what I loved the most.

Singing.

My voice.

My ability to express myself.

My dream.

My presence.

Myself.

This is where my journey truly began.

A journey towards something far deeper than simply finding a voice that worked again.

A journey towards my identity.

Towards my voice.

For more than twenty years, I embarked on a profound re-education of my body, my voice, my breath, but also of my mind and my emotions.

I worked with specialists in tongue and jaw function, breathing experts, voice psychologists, renowned singing teachers from around the world, and I opened myself to other approaches such as hypnosis, EFT, NLP and kinesiology.

I explored everything connected to singing, the voice and the human being—from voice psychology to mantras, from sacred texts to the healing power of sound and vibration.

I was not only searching to recover my voice.

I was searching to understand what the voice truly is.

The Voice as a Path

Over the years, one truth became unmistakably clear.

The voice is so much more than a sound.

It is deeply connected to our inner world.

It carries our joy, our emotions, our fears, our impulses, our story and everything we cannot hide.

It is our unique sound.

Our signature.

Our identity.

I also came to understand that we can only express what we truly are.

We may spend years refining technique, developing breath, power or precision, yet a free voice is born first from a person who dares to be fully themselves.

That is why working with the voice is also a journey of self-discovery.

A path towards greater stability, presence and awareness.

A path that invites us to grow, to move beyond our limitations and to reconnect with the most authentic part of ourselves.

I also realized that we are here to seek beauty, to inspire others and to place our gifts in the service of something greater than ourselves.

And that this requires a daily practice.

Listening.

Presence.

Self-mastery.

For me, the voice has never been just an instrument.

It is a path.

My Mission

Did I make it?

YES!

After so many years of searching, hard work and perseverance, I found a voice that is free.

A grounded voice.

An embodied voice.

A voice fully mastered.

AND THIS BECAME MY MISSION.

To help others rediscover their inner voice.

To let it sound.

Resonate.

Unfold.

Radiate.

To inspire each person to love their own voice.

To embrace their own expression.

To live in harmony with themselves and with the world.

My greatest joy is to see someone regain confidence.

To feel their breath open.

To watch their voice find its place.

To discover a freedom they once believed impossible.

And above all...

To see them fall in love with their own voice.

Whether through singing, public speaking, breathing or simply self-expression, every journey is unique.

Every voice has its own colour.

Its own vibration.

Its own light.

And it is this infinite diversity that creates harmony.

I deeply believe that the world needs authentic voices.

People who dare to be themselves.

Who dare to express their truth.

Who dare to shine without trying to become someone else.

Because there is no perfect voice.

There is only the voice that belongs uniquely to you.

And what could be more beautiful than allowing it to resonate, unfold and radiate into the world?

You can do it too!

With all my love
